Waterbuck collection was born from a simple realization, which is some of life’s most beautiful moments last only a day, but creating them can come at a cost.

Through our own experiences in and around events, we have seen how quickly the little things add up. The candles, the linens, photography props, all the details that transform a space and make a celebration feel special, beautiful pieces that are often purchased for a single occasion and never used again. We believed there could be another way.

Waterbuck Collection was created to make beautiful, quality event pieces more accessible. A collection where you can find the details that bring your vision to life, enjoy them for a moment, and then allow them to become part of someone else’s moment.

At the heart of it, Waterbuck Collection is also a story about women. Our founder’s maiden name is Chuzu which translates to Waterbuck. The waterbuck is an animal known for its strength, resilience and quiet grace, qualities we see reflected in the women who surrounded, encouraged and believed in this idea from its inception. Women who believe that strength does not need to be loud, that beautiful things can be built with patience and intention, and that there is something incredibly powerful about women supporting women as they create something of their own

It is from that spirit that Waterbuck Collection continues to grow. We hope to build more than a collection of beautiful things; we hope to build something that is rooted in community and present in the moments people will remember for years to come.
